A SEVEN STATE
ORGANIZATION MOVING FORWARD IN THE INTERESTS OF
RESPONSIBLE FOUR-WHEEL DRIVING... WITH THE PLEDGE
TO SUPPORT THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE MW4WDA,
IN THE PROTECTION...RESPECT... AND THE ENJOYMENT OF
OUR PUBLIC DOMAIN LANDS AND TOWARDS THE BETTERMENT
OF OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLE RECREATION....
IN UNITY THERE IS STRENGTH
The MW4WDA is dedicated to upholding your rights
to the continued use of public lands. Public Lands
belong to each of us TO RESPECT, TO PROTECT AND TO
ENJOY. If you support these principles, your
membership will add your voice to the 4,000,000
other recreationalists who are striving to protect
their rights and freedom. To accomplish our chosen
goals, we have established programs in the areas of
CONSERVATION, SAFTEY, AND EDUCATION.
CONSERVATION
Respect the Land! Our public lands belong to all
of us to enjoy, but with that enjoyment MUST come
protection of our natural watershed areas,
protection of forest cover, and the prevention of
forest fires. Our organization works with the U.S.
Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the
Department of Natural Resources, and other public
agencies in trail development, campground
improvement and fire trail construction. Member
clubs regularly participate in "Clean-Up"
Campaigns and maintain the motto: "If you
hauled it in....you haul it out!"
SAFETY
We support a strict program of driving safety
through the studies and recommendations of an
active Safety Committee. Events may not proceed
until all safety requirements have been met. Safety
rules have been formulated to include driving aids
and techniques for off-roading, as well as
comprehensive rules governing competitive
events.
EDUCATION
We disseminate POSITIVE information on our
members to other 4-Wheelers, government officials
and to the general public. Association activities,
and other developments of direct concern to
4-Wheelers, and publicized in our
newsletter.
